Hey Guys, what’s up?! Its Aisling here, once again with yet another blog on the dermaroller. This time, I’m covering a piece recently wrote by the guys over in Havana Skin Clinic
titled Large Pores On Nose – How Home Derma-Rolling Can Reduce Them.
By now, it’s no secret that I am obsessed with the dermaroller. The treatment itself really suites my skin type and generates incredible results as I suffer with pigmentation as a result of not looking after my skin while sunbathing or just in general really. I use a type of brightening serum while carrying out at home micro needling in order to balance out pigmentation and brighten my skin tone. I also use it over my lips and have noticed a significant difference.
This at home micro needling device causes controlled injury to the skin. This controlled injury stimulates collagen and elastin production. It is due to these proteins being produced that our skin improves in so many ways.Direct Quote From Havana Skin Clinic’s Official Blog – Full Blog Linked in The Inro
We sat down with one of our experts in results driven treatments and products to explain everything with us.
She explained that the dermaroller works to shrink and tighten our open pores. For blocked pores it will work to unblock them and then close them. When our pores are open, black heads occur. This is why it’s important that we treat the open pore before it fills up and becomes a black head. Yasmin recommends that we initially use the dermaroller 2-3 times a week at max. You can then build it up to 4-5 times a week. This ensures that your pores don’t have time to fill back up again.
Like a lot of people, I have always had open pores and as a result blocked pores. It’s a complaint, I’ve noticed my peers and family having and although it never overly bothered me, it was just an added benefit of using the roller. My pores noticeably reduced after just one use of the roller.
