The following is extracted from their blog.

Beard.

The beard is the most popular area a dermaroller would be used to promote hair growth. With beards being so popular in today’s society, anyone who can pull one off and has one. There’s also a lot of people who can’t pull them off who’s rocking them but that’s neither here nor there. We’re just happy the man bun or as it was infamously know, the “mun” is no longer on trend! CAN WE GET AN AMEN?!” Moving on swiftly to the steps you need to take in order to ensure that you are micro needling your beard area correctly.

Step 1.

Cleanse your skin twice with a non active cleanser to ensure there is no dirt or debris on the surface of the skin or beard area. You will be pushing what ever is on the surface beneath the skin so it’s important to it’s just the right ingredients.

Step 2.

Take your beard section by section rolling horizontally and then vertically 4-5 times.

Step 3.

You will need to clean the dermaroller with alcohol, fill up a clean disposable plastic cup enough to allow the head of the roller to be totally immersed in the fluid. Leave it to soak in there for 5 minutes. Take it out and rinse with warm water and then leave it to dry on some people towels. Ensure it is completely dry before using again.

Short Hair.

This one mainly applies to men as they are more likely to suffer with thinning hair as they get older. It of course can apply to women too who maybe are suffering with hair loss due to other factors which effect us all. These factors can include things like stress or thinning hair due to years of damage from dying and styling with high heats. Micro needling will puncture holes in the scalp promoting blood circulation to the area thus strengthening the hair and allowing it to grow thicker, stronger and quicker.

Step 1.

You will need to clean the dermaroller with alcohol, fill up a clean disposable plastic cup to allow the head of the roller to be totally immersed in the fluid. Leave it to soak in there for 5 minutes. Take it out and rinse with warm water and then leave it to dry on some people towels. Ensure it is completely dry before using again. You can either do this step before or after treatment, just as long as it’s clean before every use. We would recommend to clean after every use so that it’s ready for the next treatment. It goes without saying that the container that you are storing it in must also be clean.

Step 2.

Your hair needs to be wet for treatment so have a shower and wash your hair before treatment. This is also important as your scalp needs to be thoroughly clean. This is also important as you need to lessen the chances of the dermaroller getting caught in your hair.

Step 3.

You want to roll the hair in 3 directions covering the full scalp area. Horizontally, vertically and diagonally. Simply, comb your hair in the 3 directions before running the dermaroller over it so that you your rolling in the same direction as your hair to avoid it getting tangled. Make sure that you are just rolling with the hair and not against it. Repeat 4-5 times depending on sensitivity.

Top Safety Tips.* If you are using products for your hair like minoxidil, you will need to wait an extended period of time before applying this product to the scalp/beard as it may cause irritation. Wait at least 2 hours. You don’t want to use your dermaroller anymore than 20 times as it can become blunt and although the alcohol will clean it, you still need to ensure that you are replacing it. Throughout this blog, we spoke about cleaning the roller. This is so important so take note of it.
