Hi Everyone! It’s Aisling here again taking another look at the dermaroller. Considering this device posses so many benefits to the skin, I’ve been exploring it from every angle possible going into each and every benefit and exploring just how it does it. In doing so, I’ve explored the opinions of several laser and skin clinics, the main one being https://havanaskinclinic.com/dermaroller/. I’ve also turned to YouTube for tutorial and opinions of doctors. This blog was inspired from Dr Sach Mohan’s view on the roller. Just to clarify, Dr Sach Mohan is an expert on skin health, restoration and anti-ageing.
Some people have described this product as being an instrument of medieval torture! If achieving a youthful glow while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and well, improving your overall skin health then sign me up! Not to mention, I believe that medieval torture inflicted more than minor discomfort. The Dermaroller enhances the bodies own ability to heal itself.
Dr Sach pretty much explained the dermaroller similar to how I have throughout this blog series. You can catch my last one here: http://beautytipsblog.org/dermaroller-thicken-thinning-hair/
One part of Dr Sach’s YouTube video that did find really useful was where he explains the difference between using a dermaroller and having a skin peel.
The differences between having a peel and using the dermaroller are as follows:
-We are not sacrificing any skin tissue.
-The down time isn’t as long
-The result is a lot better
In conclusion, the point that stuck out for me the most was how Dr. Sach compared using a dermaroller to be a better solution to having a peel. I had never compared the two but he makes a lot of sense. You can watch Dr Sach’s YouTube video here (he goes through his view on the dermaroller and also carries out the treatment on a client): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFNe2_9YJXs
