You will need a product to apply while using the DermaPlump, hyluronic acid is one of the best product to use while using the DermaPlump although not the only product. We know from the clinical director of, Havana Skin Clinic Caroline to not use any products with active ingredients.
A product is essential to use as it act a lubricating agent while using the DermaPlump.

Step by Step Guide:

Step 1: Cleanse your skin with a cleanser that does not contain any active ingredients. Cleanse the skin twice thoroughly to ensure skin is clear of all impurities.

Step 2: Evenly apply your product to your treatment areas. You must ensure that your face remains hydrated while inflicting the controlled trauma to the skin.
Note* If you are using a new product on your skin then make sure that you trial the product before using it with the DermaPlump. The DermaPlump will allow the product that bit deeper to the dermis so if the product does not suit your skin for some reason, you definitely won’t want to use it withe DermaPlump as it will be more effective than if it were to just be applied to the surface.

Step 3: Roll the DermaPlump over affected areas. You should also note that derma rolling can improve overall skin health so it’s no harm to apply the DermaPlump to the whole face and neck. Do not however, if you have active acne, have had a cold sore in the last 14 days or have active rosacea.

How to roll:

You should roll in a criss-cross pattern
Only roll in a straight line, do not curve the DermaPlump while carrying out the treatment, it is not designed to do this and will harm the skin.

Split the facial area up into sections to keep track of areas treated: Forehead, left cheek, right cheek, Chin, upper lip, Jawline, Bridge of nose (Rolling lightly, this area only has a thin layer of skin and cannot tolerate the pressure applied to other areas of the face and to finish, you can also come down the neck area if you wish.
Ensure to avoid moles when carrying out this treatment.

The importance of Cleaning your DermaPlump:

If you do not clean the DermaPlump properly, you may experience tiny bumps on your face. (This could also be because you did not cleanse your skin properly before treatment.
